With the 40th anniversary of Friars in 2009, the website thought it might be an idea to honour those who are indelibly marked in the Friars fabric so to speak. True Friars Heroes, legends, hall of fame if you will.

During the course of 2009 we honoured many artists whose appearances are the stuff of legend and play a big part in the Friars story and we honoured those who played the 40th anniversary concerts as these were very special gigs with all artists having played Friars before. There are still some recipients to be honoured and we will honour these in 2010/2011 all going well.. Could be some nice surprises in there.........

We are so proud that these artists have taken these awards as an appreciation of their role in Friars story.
