Why?
Otway had already won a Friars Heroes Award in 2009 (and the FA Cup in
1979) alongside his
partner in crime, Wild Willy Barrett. His contribution to Friars was
never going to be overlooked, especially on the last night so he became
the first recipient of the Friars Special Award in recognition of his
unique talent and his place in Friars' and Aylesbury's musical history. |
