Why?

The Pretty Things, by the time they first played Friars in 1969 had already released the seminal SF Sorrow album, widely considered the first rock opera. 40 years later, they played a legendary set at the 40th anniversary party.

The Pretty Things: For myself and the band, I just want to say a big thank you to you and all the dedicated team that put the show together and made Friars the significant force for good, that it was, back in the day. it was a TOTALLY positive experience and one we enjoyed absolutely. You made us welcome and the presentation of The Award to the band was such a classy act.

The Pretty Things Friars appearances
