The webmaster, north Bucks:
"This gig nearly didn’t happen after two members of the Gang of Four had taken a good hiding from some hooligans a few days before the gig. Certainly the physical marks were in evidence during their performance. That is about all I remember of them except the magnificent At Home He’s a Tourist. In truth we had gone to see Swell Maps who were starting to gain a bit of a cult following with their Trip to Marineville album. They pulled out too after altercations with others. It was left for Aylesbury’s very own Stowaways to fill in at short notice. I seem to remember they weren’t for me"
