The webmaster, north Bucks: "Myself and my friend were walking past the Vale Park when a lady stopped us and asked if we knew where Friars was. We said we were heading there so we jumped in at here request and she turned out to be one of the road crew or from a PA company as we were entrusted with a component from the mixing desk which we were informed that if we twiddled any knobs, there may be no gig. As for the gig, I seem to remember Toyah coming on stage in flame red hair in dry ice. There were people being dragged out all over the place, dropping through hysteria. The gig itself was a good one though. I do remember Fad Gadget/Frank Tovey (RIP) doing a song called Ladyshave whereby Tovey's hand disappeared down his trousers and then re-appeared scattering some of his erm...man hair. Nice."
