I remember with Upp, the crowd loved us even though we were the support band.....(they) gave us an encore (and) Widowmaker got really pissed off, Steve Ellis and Ariel Bender were giving us black looks... we didn't care so we did the encore. Friars loved us.....Ellis goes on and says "now for some real rock n roll"....... the crowd groaned.......All the very best to all at Friars...where did the years go?

  what happened next
  Internal problems put paid to Widowmaker and Ellis walked during their second album and didn't appear on it. He toured as Love Affair (his old band) for some time and is a solo artiste these days. Ariel Bender (Luther Grosvenor) has formed the Ariel Bender Band. Daisley answered Ritchie Blackmore's call in 1977.
