what happened next
The Cult after Southern Death Cult, they became Death Cult and then just The Cult by the time they played Friars in 1984. They went on to huge success, especially in the US. She Sells Sanctuary is a defining moment.

Balaam and The Angel lasted until 1989 and reformed in 1981

Play Dead Oxford band Play Dead lasted until around 1986.
