The early Genesis performances up to 1972 cemented their place in Friars
history and the rest is history as they say. Like former Genesis member
Peter Gabriel, Steve insisted on including Friars Aylesbury into the
schedule when he became a solo artist. Artists like Steve are not
forgotten and the website was delighted to be
able to present Steve with this award near his home
in London.

Aylesbury was always a unique place to play... a magical atmosphere with
a great reception from the crowd. It'll always be a special place in my
memory.
