what happened next
After two albums, the band split in 1981. Devoto did record again with old Buzzcocks band mate Pete Shelley in 2001. John McGeoch became a Banshee following their problems in 1979 and played for both bands. He also featured in a later incarnation of PIL.  McGeoch died in 2004. Dave Formula was also part of Visage (Fade to Grey etc) as was Barry Adamson.

Magazine reformed for shows in 2009

The Shirts split in 1981 and reformed in 1994

The Zones had disbanded by 1979 and were formed from the ashes of PVC2 who were formed from the ashes of Slik. Once Midge Ure left PVC2, they regrouped as The Zones. Russell Webb joined The Skids.
