sisters of mercy                                                                                                                       A few stop/starts in their career, but The Sisters of Mercy are still going, essentially Andrew Eldritch's artistic vehicle. The Skeletal Family lasted till 1986 and reformed in 2002 and disbanded in 2009

Wayne Hussey, after the Sisters split the first time in 1985 went on to form The Mission who were successful.
