After Southern Death Cult, they became Death Cult and then just The Cult by the time they played Friars in 1984. They went on to huge sucess, especially in the US. She Sells Sanctuary is a defining moment.
As as Spring 2008, Astbury and Duffy were touring again as The Cult.
