Seven times Stackridge headlined Friars Aylesbury, pretty close to
record breaking with their sets like one Friars news-sheet put it, a
tranquliser to make you smile. Enough said. Stackridge never attained
the commercial success their live performances deserved. But recently
they have reformed and are playing again to enthusiastic audiences. A
well deserved Heroes Award.
