Malcolm Owen died in 1980 and the Ruts regrouped as Ruts DC but this didn't last beyond 1980. In 2007 the Ruts grouped with Henry Rollins on vocals for a one off gig in support of ill Paul Fox. Fox sadly passed away in 2007.
