what happened next
The Groundhogs have been going since 1963 and Tony McPhee's Groundhogs still gig as at 2010. They also came back to Friars in 2009 and became the first band in 25 years to be introduced onto the Friars stage

Cheeks disbanded in 1976. Verden Allen and Martin Chambers were both involved in the legendary 2009 Mott The Hoople reunion gigs
