what happened next
String Driven Thing called it a day in the mid 70s until Chris re-emerged in 1991 with a solo album. The first SDT album in over 30 years was released in 2007. With 2012 being the 40th anniversary of signing to Charisma and touring with Genesis they will be undertaking some anniversary gigs which will feature Chris and Pauline.

From the Kilburns, Ian Dury went on to have huge solo success with the Blockheads. Keith Lucas became nick cash and played friars with 999
